That’s right it’s plural! Aren’t we greedy?
We’re looking at having 3 wedding lists. This is at least partly because we don’t live together and own very little that is practical. It also reflects our particular interests; for example there is a Finnish Design gift list for us to indulge that passion, there is a Fair Trade one and a third one in Arnotts for people who like to browse the actual items in, you know, physical space.
Needless to say there is absolutely no need to purchase a gift at all, we require nothing beyond your wonderful presence.
The Finnish Design list can be found at the Finnish Design Shop and contains some really beautiful things that we love and have pined for on various trips to Finland. When asked for a delivery address from the Finnish Design Shop just enter your own address but the gift will still be shipped directly to us.
The Fair Trade list is at Fair Trade Gift List this contains more everyday items that were all fairly traded from developing countries and are often also sustainably sourced or recycled. We put loads of things on this list and have no idea that all of them would be bought but we’d like to start as we mean to go on with an option for ethically traded goods.
And the third is in Arnotts and contains electrical appliances and other sundries we just don’t own Arnotts list. Arnotts are ridiculously flexible with their list and also charge shipping so you are best off to go into the store and buy the thing and take it away with you. That way you will also get a sale price if there is one.
As previously said we are acutely aware that most people are taking a days leave to be with us on the day and that is appreciated beyond any gift you could give! If you would prefer to give to charity in our name or make us something with your own fair hands that would be brilliant too!
